Strabag's acquisition of Cemex subsidiary approved

The Hungarian competition authority GVH has given the go ahead for Austria-based Strabag to acquire Cemex’s operations in Hungary.
However, the approval has only been granted under the agreement that Strabag sells Cemex Hungaria's pre-mixed concrete production plant in Salgotarjan. The condition to the sale was made because of Strabag’s existing presences in the aggregates and ready mixed concrete markets in Hungary.
